Enterprise Overview:

The CIS/MediaOne Corporate Internet Enterprise is a robust architecture optimized for rapid delivery of commercial grade, client-server applications as well as scaleable market targeted content.

All current/future developers/engineers in charge of implementing new technologies and/or developing on the CIS/MediaOne Enterprise should have the following qualifications or specialize in one of the following categories.

Enterprise development/management: comprehensive understanding of

scaleable distributed client-server application management, multi-vendor system administration, leveraging new technologies, SUN OS experience, UNIX development tools proficiency, X Windows familiarity, system performance tuning via crontab, UNIX shell scripting and batch/bots, content server administration, site management tools integration, security assurance techniques, incorporate hi/low bandwidth capabilities and procedures, current/future implications speculation, multiple OS platform/hardware (in)compatibility’s, 3rd party intrusions/influence understanding, telecommunications concepts, online advertising management system programming/administration. livewire, C/C++, Open Windows and GNU familiarity.

Base requirements: thorough understanding of html specifications, networking topologies,  thorough knowledge of large site maintenance and software development tools, style sheets, templates, forms management, infrastructure issues management, html publishing on/off-line, client/server Image mapping, professional-quality content design/formatting, hands on SSI administration/development.

R&D: assessment and examination of development lifecycles, technical specifications and design methods, technical evaluation, usability trade-off’s. competitive analysis, multi-media interaction design methods. cost and schedule estimation, competitive analysis, software testing and evaluation, perform interpretive and predictive evaluation, compile development flow for implementation.

Project Management: employ dynamic management techniques to improve productivity and performance, leverage project tasks, flexible modeling, task analysis.

Software development: Interactive object oriented technologies/programming - Java, Javascript, Jscript, VbScript/ActiveXScripting,  shockwave, C/C++, perl, VB,

Development technologies: C syntax and semantics, debug techniques,  program structuring,  complex data types,  modular programming, OOP fundamentals,  vrml.

Marketing/Public relations:
